American Airlines cancels nonstop service from Philadelphia to Tel Aviv effective January 1, 2016

WebmasterTravel Alerts

American Airlines has just announced that as of January 1, 2016 they will discontinue service between Philadelphia and Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv, Israel. This decision came as a surprise to the travel industry because the flights for this route were almost always either sold out or filled close to capacity, however American Airlines has cited other factors in deeming the route “unprofitable” for the airline.

George’s International Tours has notified all of its existing clients who were booked to Tel Aviv on flights operated by American Airlines and we are actively working to reprotect those passengers on other flights.

If you booked a land-only package with us and subsequently booked your own flights directly with American Airlines for travel to/from Tel Aviv after January 1, 2016 we encourage you to contact American Airlines directly in order to discuss a refund or a possible rerouting on other flights that they may be able to offer you. If American Airlines is unable to assist you with the rebooking of your flights please feel free to contact us by email at sales@georgesintl.com or by phone at (800) 566-7499 for further assistance.
