Update on all Holy Land Pilgrimages

WebmasterNews, Pilgrimages, Travel Alerts

Dear Pilgrims,

As you are no doubt aware, Hamas launched a surprise attack from Gaza over the weekend against Israeli communities in the southern part of the Holy Land resulting in significant loss of life. We understand that these events are a great cause of concern for you and we would like to reassure you that your safety is our number one priority.

We apologize if we may have missed any of your calls or emails, however as you can imagine we have been inundated with messages since this crisis began and our focus at the moment is to address the needs of our groups that are currently in the Holy Land and those groups that were scheduled to travel this coming week.

At the present time all of our pilgrimage scheduled through the end of October, 2023 have been cancelled. We are in the process of determining the viability of our pilgrimages scheduled between November-December, 2023 and decisions on the future of those groups will be made in conjunction with your group leader and our travel partners (airlines, hotels, etc.). We will be assessing each trip based upon the order of its departure date and kindly ask that you remain patient and wait for an official communication from us in the coming days regarding the future of your pilgrimage.

While the region has often experienced periods of conflict in the past, this unrest often resolves within a fairly short time frame of days or weeks, not months, and we pray that a resolution to the current hostilities will be reached soon. At this time, every expectation is that our tours scheduled for 2024 will continue as planned, however if anything changes or impacts your scheduled departure, a member of our reservations team will notify you immediately.

We would like to thank you for your understanding during this difficult period and ask that you join us in praying for everyone affected by this violence in the Holy Land.

Sincerely,

George’s International Tours
